Cub Scout Troop 325
The Cub Scouts will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event at LPC on Thursday, October 30th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, and they need your help!
They’re looking for TRUNKS — friendly volunteers who can park in the LPC lot, let the Scouts decorate your trunk, and help pass out candy during the event. It’s a fun, festive way to support the Scouts and bring joy to the community!

Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium
Friday, September 26, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
– Meet in the Church Parking Lot to Carpool at 9:30.
The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium is a natural history museum and aquarium, and the only museum in the United States devoted primarily to shells and mollusks. Its mission is to use exceptional collections, aquariums, programs, experiences, and science to be the nation’s leading museum in the conservation, preservation, interpretation, and celebration of shells, the mollusks that create them, and their ecosystems. The Fellowship Committee of the church is planning occasional day trips (excursions) to explore local attractions. All church members, congregants, and friends are welcome to join us for our first day trip to the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium in Sanibel! From the Museum’s website’s “Plan Your Visit” page, admission for a self-guided tour is $18. Admission for seniors to have a self-guided tour is $15. And admission for a 90-minute tour with a guide is $21. We have tentatively scheduled a tour of the museum with a tour guide for anyone who is interested. We will spend about 90 minutes at the museum and then have lunch at Bimini Bait Shack. We plan to return to Lely by mid-afternoon.
