*A SPECIAL Packing Event*
A special INDEPENDENT/Non-LPC scheduled packing event is being held for the “Feed My Starving Children” organization. They will be holding their 3rd annual “mobile packing” event on June 10, 11, and 12. See Beth Thompson or pick up a hand-out in the Narthex which will include all necessary information.
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit organization that focuses on feeding children in need around the world, primarily through the packaging and distribution of nutritionally complete meals. Volunteers hand-pack meals, which are then shipped to partner organizations for distribution in various countries. FMSC also offers volunteer opportunities, including hosting MobilePack events and attending galas.
Please wear RED Sunday, June 8th.
On Pentecost Sunday, it is a tradition to wear red. Red symbolizes the Holy Spirit, the birth of the Church, and the fire that descended upon the apostles at Pentecost.
Come worship the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. Wear RED
