/0 Comments/in Uncategorized/by adminWe are again supporting the children in New Horizons and of Mision Peniel by providing Christmas gifts. An Angel Tree will be in the Narthex beginning November 24th with ornaments identifying children’s wishes.
Please select an ornament, provide your contact information on the spreadsheet provided, and enjoy shopping to make the wish come true. Please limit your spending to no more than $30.00. Gifts must be returned by December 8th.
You may wrap the ones for the New Horizon children and attach the ornament identifying the recipient. For Mision Peniel, please put the unwrapped gift in the gift bag provided and attach the ornament to the bag.
Bequest from James Lovell Estate

Our Church Home has received a Bequest of $30,000 from the Estate of James Lovell with the proceeds having been allocated to the Endowment Fund. Jim was a long-term friend of Lely Presbyterian Church who was a person of deep faith and is remembered as a quiet, caring person. We are so grateful for Jim’s commitment to Lely Presbyterian and for his very generous gift, which will allow us to continue to do God’s work, serve those in need and spread the word of our savior. Thank you, Jim.

Back by popular demand, Carl Granieri & Voyces!
If you missed their concert last year, be sure to put this date in your diaries and look forward to a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment from the fabulous Carl Granieri and Voyces, his “pay it forward” ensemble, showcasing up-and-coming young singers in 5-part close harmony.
They have been making quit a name for themselves in Naples and beyond, so we are grateful that they have been able to fit us into their busy schedule! This year’s concert is called “Wondrous Stories” featuring some of the most popular musical stories ever told. Be prepared to be wowed!

Peter Simon with “Classy Piano Favorites”
International concert pianist, Peter Simon, returns to Lely Presbyterian Church to perform the best and most beloved piano music on one program!
From “Moonlight Sonata,” to “Clair de Lune,” to “Sabre Dance,” to “Malaguena,” to “Rhapsody in Blue,” our audience will thoroughly enjoy hearing the greatest piano music of all time, performed by the highly acclaimed pianist, Peter Simon.

The Earworms
The Earworms, Doug Judge (originally from Indianapolis, IN) and Rick Perdue (from Charleston, WV) are an acoustic duo located in Naples, Florida.
Bringing many years of experience, including in Nashville, TN, they play a great mix of country, classic rock, southern rock, and Christian music. Making their debut at Lely Presbyterian church, you can be sure of a good time, and Earworms will definitely get “stuck in your head!”

Carl Granieri and Isaac Mingus
We are so excited to round off our 2025 concert series with these two accomplished musicians playing together for our delight. Carl, Lely’s dear friend and interim Music Director, is well known and loved by our congregation who have recognized and enjoyed the talents of this outstanding musician.
He will be performing for us with Isaac Minus, one of the “young lions” of the Florida music scene. Isaac is a professional cellist and acoustic/electric bassist, unusual in the he excels at both classical and jazz music, and plays all manner of popular styles as well.
You can read his full bio, and Carl’s in the concert program. Suffice it for now to say, that we are truly privileged to have these two amazing musicians play for us as the finale of the LPC Concert Series 2025!
