Names Matter –  Sunday July 6th

🙏 Names Matter: Say Their Name – A Gospel of Recognition 🙏

In this Sunday’s Gospel, John does something the other Disciples do not—he names Mary of Bethany. While the Synoptic Gospels often leave her unnamed or refer to her only as “a sinner,” John gives her a name, a voice, and a place in the story of Jesus. This act of naming is more than detail—it’s empowerment. John’s Gospel invites us to see how identity, dignity, and devotion are restored when we are truly known.
